New sessions of HTML/CSS Basics and Web Design with WordPress at DPL!

The Community Technology Center will be offering a three-part HTML/CSS Basics series starting April 16th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Come learn how to design a web page from scratch! Following that class, starting May 7th, at the same time, ¬†will be a three-part Web Design with WordPress class, where we’ll be learning how to use WordPress as a platform to start our own website. Come master the internets with us.

Trying out inline styling

If you want to really customize your site, you can use CSS to do it – but it’s a paid feature if you want to be able to change the CSS for your theme.

You can, however, use inline CSS to customize posts,

like this.

How did I do that? I used a <span> tag to style just a part of the post, using the code:

<span style="color: blue; font-size: 2em;">like this.</span>

Using inline styling, you can tweak single words or all whole posts to give them a distinct look. Happy coding!
