The Community Technology Center will be offering a three-part HTML/CSS Basics series starting April 16th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Come learn how to design a web page from scratch! Following that class, starting May 7th, at the same time, will be a three-part Web Design with WordPress class, where we’ll be learning how to use WordPress as a platform to start our own website. Come master the internets with us.

If you want to really customize your site, you can use CSS to do it – but it’s a paid feature if you want to be able to change the CSS for your theme.

How did I do that? I used a <span> tag to style just a part of the post, using the code:
<span style="color: blue; font-size: 2em;">like this.</span>
Using inline styling, you can tweak single words or all whole posts to give them a distinct look. Happy coding!
